You end your conversation by wrapping it up and saying "goodbye." Good writers end their writing by wrapping up their work. Do you want to learn how to wrap up? Let's get started!

So far, in this lesson series called How To Writing, you have learned how to use transition words, how to organize your writing, and how to write an introduction.

In this lesson, you are going to learn how to write a dynamite conclusion!

What's a conclusion? A conclusion is the wrap-up to your writing. A conclusion is a quick sentence that tells the main idea. It is a way for your readers to review what they read and to close out your writing.

Read the passage below. It has a dynamite conclusion. Ask your teacher or grown up to read it with you, if you need help:

How To Brush Your Teeth

Did you know that you need five things when you brush your teeth? You do! You need a toothbrush, toothpaste, water, a sink, and, of course, your teeth!

I'm going to teach you how to brush your teeth. It is important to brush your teeth correctly, so that you have healthy teeth and gums.

First, run your toothbrush under the water to get it wet. Next, put a pea-sized drop of toothpaste on your toothbrush. Then, put the brush in your mouth and start brushing! Brush your top teeth and your bottom teeth. Your mouth will get soapy, so spit out the suds into the sink and rinse off your brush. Be sure to brush for three minutes! Finally, rinse your mouth and put away your supplies!

Today, you have been taught how to brush your teeth in four easy steps. If you brush your teeth twice a day, your teeth and gums will be healthy, and your dentist will be happy. You will have lots to smile about!

The author also reminded the reader why it is important to brush by saying, "If you brush your teeth twice a day, your teeth and gums will be healthy, and your dentist will be happy."
