Lesson Plan - Get It!
Have you ever heard someone say, "I'm just a bundle of nerves"? In a way, that's right! The brain may be kind of gross to look at, but it's a beautiful part of your body, amazing in what it is doing right now as you read this!
The nervous system is a system of cells, tissues, and organs that regulates the body's responses to internal and external stimuli.
Stimuli are things that cause responses in an individual, such as actions, thoughts, and feelings.
In humans, the nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. In this lesson, you will explore the nervous system and the parts of the brain using an interesting video, online quiz, brain thinking cap activity, and mind-FULL projects.
