Time to skip count by nines!

Take a look at this skip-counting pattern below.

9 - 18 - 27 - 36 - 45 - 54 - 63 - 72 - 81

Each time you move to the next number, you're adding 9 more. That's the trick!

This is how it works.

1. Start at 9.

2. Add 9 more: 9 + 9 = 18.

3. Add another 9: 18 + 9 = 27.

4. Add one more: 27 + 9 = 36.

Think of skip counting by 9 like jumping forward on a number line — 9 spaces at a time.

Each jump moves you ahead by 9, helping you land on the next number in the pattern.

Now, look at the skip-counting chart below.
