In the last of the Related Lessons, found in the right-hand sidebar, you learned that proper nouns for people, places, and things begin with a capital letter.

Turn and tell your teacher or parent a name and place that begin with a capital letter.

You will return to the Where do I use capital letters? (The Quiet Creative) video that you watched in the last lesson, and begin watching the video at the beginning. The video will stop at 1:32. You will come back to this video for another lesson.

While you watch the video, look for when to use a capital letter in a sentence:

You need to begin every sentence with a capital letter. Turn and tell your teacher one reason to begin a sentence with a capital letter.
