A crime happens when someone breaks the law. A law is a rule that everyone has to follow. When criminals break the law, police officers are there to stop them. For example, if someone tries to steal money from a bank, a police officer will stop them and return the money to the bank.
When a criminal breaks the law and is caught by the police, he or she will have to face the consequences for their actions. There are different consequences for different crimes. Some criminals have to pay a fee, some end up in jail, and some even go to prison, depending on the crime they committed.
They use their police cars to drive to locations where crimes are happening. When they get there, police officers work together to catch the criminal. When the criminal is caught, they are handcuffed and brought to the police station.
