  • Are you ready for that test?

Don't worry, there is no test just yet!

The United States can be broken down into regions.

A region is a large area of land that has common features. For example, in the United States there are 5 regions:

  • West
  • Southwest
  • Midwest
  • Southeast
  • Northeast

The regions are named for their locations. For instance, the Northeast Region includes the states that are located in the Northeastern part of the country.
