I finished reading my book. Now what?

Reading a book doesn't end when you read the last sentence.

Good readers use many strategies when they read. List the strategies you use when you read.

How many strategies did you list? Does your list include making predictions, inferencing, developing stop and ask questions, or making connections with the story elements. These are just a few strategies readers use.

Compare your list with these Reading Comprehension Strategies (teachthought.com). Are there any strategies you want to add to your list? Are there any reading strategies you use that aren't listed on this graphic? What would you add?
