Pretend you could travel anywhere in the world.

  • Where would you go?
  • What would you pack in your suitcase?
  • If you were traveling to Africa, would you pack the same clothes as you would if you were going to the North Pole?

If you were traveling to Africa, you would pack clothes for warm weather. If you were traveling to the North Pole, you would pack clothes to help keep you warm.

This is because Africa and the North Pole have different climates!

Climate is the weather conditions in an area over a long period.
