In this lesson, you may have noticed that Charlotte's plan to save Wilbur is beginning to unfold. Do you think this will be the miracle the next chapter is referring too? Share your ideas with your parent or teacher.

Before you begin reading the next chapters, find the Charlotte's Web Chapter Summary in your notebook. (Downloadable Resources) Add a summary for Chapters 8 to 10. You can use the same format you used in previous lessons to write a summary. Look back in the book for help if you need a reminder about what happened:

• Somebody (who was the chapter about)
• Wanted (what did the character want)
• But (what was the problem)
• So (what happened next)
• Then (how was the problem solved or how did the section end)

On the right side of the page, write a prediction about what you think will happen in Chapters 11-13.

In Chapters 11-13, you will read some words that may be unfamiliar to you. Print Charlotte's Web Vocabulary 11-13 from Downloadable Resources in the right-hand sidebar.

You will assemble this page as you have in the previous lessons in the series. Glue the page into your Charlotte's Web notebook on Page 19 and add it to the Table of Contents page in the beginning of the notebook. Use a dictionary or an online dictionary like Dictionary.com to look up the meaning of each word. Write the definition under the flap that matches each word.
