It is said, "The eye is the window to the soul." You can tell a lot by looking into someone's eyes, but our eyes tell us lots about the world. Using videos and online sources, study the amazing eye!
Eyes are amazing!
Read on to learn just how beautiful and amazing your eyes really are!
For most humans, the eyes are the most-used sensory organs.
People use their eyes to see colors, shapes, sizes, and actions. There are two important parts to the eyes in the retina (the back wall of the eyeball): the rods and the cones.
The rods see in black, white, and shades of gray, and help you see in the dark.
The cones are sensitive to red, green, and blue.
All together, they let you see millions of colors. In this lesson, use your eyes to watch interesting videos and take part in creative activities to explore the sense of sight and learn how the eyes work!
